Meta finds Trident guarding the room, and learns that Axe has been acting odd since he found Brooke.

My opinion of this comic:
Well, first off, the size. The comics are FAR too large for SJ, so I have to zoom out by 50% just to make them readable without scrolling.
Secondly, there's the plot, with you putting your FC in such an important role, but that's pretty understandable, and you have shown some weaknesses in said FC, making it less of a problem.
The main problem you have with that is the "Jail scenes" and this business with Axe Knight, but the second is good for some jokes/comic relief from time to time. The first, however, does exhibit some "author bias," though it's not very major.

The only other problem I see is the Advance-style Kirby. As I see it, "making him look like a baby" isn't a good reason to use lower-quality sprites. It's in the personality.
I mean, BattleStarX's Kirby is plently baby-like, but did BSX use Advance sprites?

@Meta-Mind: I used Super Star Ultra sprites. I just resized the Kirby sprites to make them seem more baby sized. I assure you, all of the kirby sprites in this comic are from KSSU.

@Meta-Mind: As for the comic size, I couldn't make the comic any smaller without making the text smaller, and for some odd reason, I can't make the text smaller than size 28 without it becoming pixelated and unreadable.

@NMA: Thanks. But why does everyone think I used Advance sprites? I used KSSU sprites, I just resized Kirby to make him smaller.

@NMA: I'm sorry, what?

First off, page stretching comics ARE NOT GOOD. The size is just pixelating the characters anyways, so it would be no problemto resize the sprites.

Making, spriting, animating, and designing FCs, ESPECIALLY Kirby FCs, is easy.

That was NOT harsh at all. If you like, I can show you "harsh."

In no way was I implying that this is bad; I even took additional precautions to be SURE it remained respectful and constructive.

And all those excuses for resizing Kirby are actually quite horrible.

Additionally, the comment about "opinion" was completely off-base. 85% of what I said was objective fact, and the rest was composed of tips.

@Divine Knight: You are extremly awesome. Please do not give up because somebody (glares at Meta-Mind) said negative things.

Guys, what's the problem? S/he gave sensible, constructive criticism, and gave some good points to the comic, praising her decisions many times, which you would see if you actually bothered to read the whole thing. Meta-mind isn't 'Jealous', or whatever, he's just trying to help make the comic better. Which, as a fan, is the best possible thing you can do.

And it's not like Lyla got depressed by it or anything. Heck, she ACCEPTED that those problems were there, and also accepted the criticism, taking it into consideration. If the author of this comic is able to take criticism for it, why can't you?
